We’ll work with you to understand your challenges, identify design solutions, and help you implement them. It’s a deliberately lean design process, but one that has produced some fantastic results for both large and small projects!

To keep our process as efficient as possible we use a lean design approach. This means we design smart – creating style guides and key mock-ups.
Our design service doesn’t cost as much as you think! Based on you needs and budget we’ll agree a scope of work upfront. We can make a little go a long way.
We start by chatting with you to discover the challenges you are facing and where you are currently at. You can show us your project (or idea) and give us a good sense of what you are trying to achieve. We’ll also want to discuss your brand, and look at any assets you have such as brand guidelines, colours or other existing branded materials.
Our design team will then do a ux and design review, noting down observations, issues, and making recommendations that align with design best practices. We also review your brand assets and check the suitability of them for your project (i.e. font and colours suitable for digital use).
We produce high fidelity mock-ups of key screens to illustrate our design recommendations, using your brand assets. We then present our findings and suggestions to you and gather feedback.
A style guide is created that breaks down the visual elements used within your new design. This enables you to take these design styles and apply them to other elements moving forward in your project.
We either hand everything over to you to implement (with us always on hand for guidance and support). We can also do a second review as well if needed. Or, we can apply the new design styles directly to your Squirrel project, and return the completed project back to you to maintain.
