What are the system requirements for Squirrel365?

Minimum system requirements for the Squirrel365 designer are:

Windows 10 or macOS Yosemite (Version 10.10), or newer, and 8GB RAM.

We recommend Chrome or Edge as supported browsers for your published Squirrel projects.

Which browsers are supported?

Published projects should function well in all modern browsers, however, we only officially test against Chrome and Edge (79+)

Spreadsheet

Does it work with my version of Excel?

Yes, Squirrel supports importing Excel® versions back to 1997 and works with both .xls and .xlsx files.

How many Excel formulas does Squirrel support?

Squirrel supports over 400+ Excel formulas including commonly used favourites such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF and HLOOKUP. The full list can be viewed here

Publishing and distribution

Can I embed my project in my website?

Yes, all plans now include sharing via a web link, embedding via our embed code and embedding in slides in PowerPoint using the Squirrel365 add-in.

How do I add my project to a PowerPoint slide?

You’ll need to add our free Squirrel365 Add-in for PowerPoint from the Microsoft add-ins store. This enables you to add any Live project, published to the cloud, directly into your slide.

Branding

Can I remove the 'Powered by Squirrel365' branding?

Yes, you can remove the ‘Powered by Squirrel’ footer from your project by subscribing to Creator 10 or higher plans.

Billing and payment

How do I view my billing and invoices?

If you purchased online, log into your account at cloud.squirrel365.io where you will be able to view your billing history and download invoices.
If you purchased Squirrel via a manual purchase (PO) please contact your account manager and they will be pleased to help.

How do I amend my payment details?

If you purchased online, log into your account at cloud.squirrel365.io where you will be able to access your billing information and update your payment details.
If you purchased Squirrel via a manual purchase (PO) please contact your account manager and they will be pleased to help.

How do I upgrade my subscription?

If you purchased online, log into your account at cloud.squirrel365.io where you will be able to view upgrade options and select the plan that’s right for you.

Can I change my plan at any time?

Yes. Squirrel is a subscription service and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time. However, please note that for downgrades and cancellations your plan change will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you purchased online, log into your account at cloud.squirrel365.io where you will be able to cancel your subscription. Your subscription will continue to run until the end of your billing period, and then your account will be changed to a Free plan.
If you purchased Squirrel via a manual purchase (PO) please contact your account manager and they will be pleased to help.

How do I delete my account?

Anyone on a Free plan can delete their account from their profile page. If you have cancelled your subscription then the option to delete your account will become available as soon as your plan has downgraded to free. 
Please be aware that this action is permanent and means that all of your existing Squirrel projects will be deleted.

Please contact us if you need to request your account be deleted whilst you have an active subscription.

Data security and privacy

Is my data safe?

With Squirrel you install the designer onto your machine and the data stays in your system throughout the project design process. When you are ready to share your project, you export and distribute it to our cloud or as an internal WebApp for distribution on your own cloud or internal web site. Any projects, and their associated data, published to the Squirrel365 cloud are encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption.

Where is my data stored when I publish my project?

When you want to share a project, Squirrel exports it as a single file. This file contains your spreadsheet data and logic, in a highly compressed form, and a description of the layout of your project. Depending on the export option this file is either saved on the Squirrel cloud or locally on your servers if you have chosen the export as WebApp option.
